My older son shows some signs of anxiety over a few things and I thought it might be useful to read how the professionals recommend dealing with, so it doesn’t escalate (’cause that’s what I do – read books !). This one was pretty basic. It just dealt with the basic forms of anxiety and how to address them but it was mostly common sense, pick-your-battles type stuff. A lot of comments about avoiding situations which might stress your child, not taking your stress out on them and dealing with separation anxiety. I can’t say it helped too much, because it was too general really, but its a good reminder of how your child’s temperament affects the way you parent them
